As we have checked the online world where product sellers and product buyers easily connected with each other. The fast growing network of social media dominates in, specially facebook, shoppee, lazada and ebay. However, it is very fast too to be involved with the trap set by fraudsters, thief, stealers and SCAMMERS? How can we sure that the product that we have bought online is ORIGINAL or FAKE.

I have set GLUTA LIPO as an example; the idea is with oral slimming and whitening products which you may have to lose more when it comes to counterfeit products. You have no IDEA of the damage you will be taken from these fraudsters. There might have some toxic materials that can cause fatal to users health if you used this counterfeit products.

So today I’m gonna show you some tips how to do a legit check. This can be applied and can be test in all products specially beauty products. So we will test this slimming and whitening product called GLUTA LIPO so we can determine if product is REAL or FAKE.

Tags: A Original Gluta lipo vs Fake Gluta Lipo comparison, how to compare if products are legit or fake, GLUTA LIPO LEGIT TEST and COMPARISON.

LEGIT TEST 1: PRICE COMPARE – UNREAL DISCOUNTS

Keep it in mind that lowest selling price for Gluta lipo is 220php. Here in our location, the distributors reselling price is 230php per box if you order 6 boxes. If you buy it for 1 pc it will be 300php – 350php per box. Doesn’t it is so much HIGH compared to other that for sale around 180php to 195php per box? Well do the distributors do high markups? Well I think No, kindly take note that products are also came from the storage house which originally came from the manufacturer.

If you buy any products, especially online, at a fraction of the price, or the deal is too good to be true, it usually is. Know how much discount is typically available on branded or luxury items and if the offer is unrealistically low, say, 55-80% of the MRP, then there’s probability that you are buying a FAKE.

Like for an example; GLUTA LIPO which is the LRP is 220PHP-299PHP, SRP is 300PHP-350PHP and MRP is 475PHP. Then, theres a seller that you have negotiated so far giving you a 180PHP PRICE for 1 box due to they have promos or something like that. So if you compute 180php as selling price you will be having a 62% of the maximum retail price. By this time you should be conducting a product seller test first because 180php-195php price is VERY SUSPICIOUS.

NOTE: Computation above can be only be applied if you’re ordering retail or 1 to 3boxes of this product.

LEGIT TEST 2: PACKAGING COMPARISON

This is a dead giveaway as good brands and businesses take a lot of care and spend a lot of money on packaging materials. If the item is shabbily packed, doesn’t fit properly in the box, uses substandard material like cheap plastic or sagging cardboard, take it as a sign of counterfeiting. Similarly, if you get a product without any packaging at all, know it to be a fake.

Counterfeit products can be easily identified through wrong spelling (an extra or a missing letter) or grammatical errors. For instance, Gluta Lipo will be written as Glutta Lipo or Glutha Lipo, or Louis Vuitton may be spelt as Vitton. While these mistakes in brand names are deliberate to lure the careless customer, those in the product information or instruction manual reflects the fraudsters’ lack of education. So read carefully for this clear giveaway.

POOR QUALITY

The quality of counterfeit products is usually suspect, with cheap alternatives used in place of the original. The material can be substandard box, tacky plastic, fake leather, cheap glass, poor quality cloth, old or used parts in electronic appliances and gadgets. Even the shape of the containers can be slightly different. If the product has a course, used feel to it, do not buy it.

WRONG FONTS, DICOLORED LOGO

Much like the spellings, it is easy to detect fake logos, brand names and trademarks, if you are paying attention. If you are observant and know the original logos well, you can catch even the smallest variation. If this is difficult for you, take a picture of the product you think is fake, and compare it with the original online. The font could be slightly different or of the wrong size. Even the colouring could be faded or altered minutely from the original. The printed text could be faded, smudged, illegible or misaligned.

What if you’re a first time buyer, then proceed to the next test.

LEGIT TEST 3:

If you are shopping online, one easy way to counter the purchase of fake items is to check the authenticity of websites. If the site is fake, so are the products. Confirm the URL and ensure that the site is safe by looking for ‘https’ (instead of http) and the lock sign. For example if someone is selling who owned a website with address of https://ladylskinessential.blogspot.com – this is a good sign that this site is authentic seller of this product. If you are getting a good discount elsewhere, check the store’s address by going online and make sure you have genuine contact details. If some details maybe uncleared you should request copy of valid id’s  like sss, umid, police clearance, company id, nbi clearance, this is a good practice so that you may not fall in fraudsters hand. If seller refuse then you should find another supplier. If seller provide then proceed to the next legit test.

LEGIT TEST 4:

Many seller came from OLX and FACEBOOK, this sites doesn’t have any consumer protection unlike LAZADA and EBAY.
If you find the seller provided details such as store name, seller name (provided in their ID) or store address, then you begin to investigate.
Search the seller name, store name, store address. Like for example in facebook which seller name is “juan della crux”. Type in the search bar the seller’s info then add the word “scam”.
ex : juan della crux scam

If there are no post that this account does not connected or involved in any scam then you might have a good purchase from this seller.

You can also check their photos about payment proofs and other details.
